Reviews from Ohio librarians from the 2024 Summer Reading Program (Canals for Kids):
“Sarah Harper presented Canals for Kids for our Summer Reading Program at Pataskala Public Library. She took us on an adventure on the canals and into Ohio history. She was wonderful with the kids and had several well thought out activities for them to do. Everyone learned so much about the canals all the while having fun!”
~Laura Scarberry, Pataskala Public Library
“Sarah Harper did an amazing job presenting Canals for Kids to the children and adults about the history of Ohio’s canals. She has also written her own book, Exploring Ohio Canals, which is a great educational tool for anyone including adding it to homeschool curriculum. The interactive stations were very fun and thought provoking for the children and they enjoyed them very much.”
