Every child dreams of doing something exciting with their life. I wanted to be an author and a cowgirl! While I spent many years in the saddle growing up, I did less with my writing dreams until now. This September I will be publishing my very first book! I have created the Have Books, Will Travel series to help readers better understand the history behind popular vacation destinations. Exploring Ohio Canals is the first book in this series. In it readers will discover what life was like on the Ohio canals in the 1880’s. After reading Exploring Ohio Canals readers will be encouraged to have your own adventure at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. This and all future books in the Have Books, Will Travel series will be full of interesting facts, fun activities, and insightful travel tips.
